Bei Schimmelentfernung: Kein Staub aufwirbeln

Bei kleinflächigem Befall ist es unter Umständen möglich, den Schimmel selbst zu entfernen. Bei der Schimmelentfernung ist es aber wichtig, besonders behutsam vorzugehen und keinen Staub aufkommen zu lassen. Denn tritt eine Staubverwirbelung auf, so verteilen sich die gefährlichen Sporen schnell über den gesamten Raum. Schimmelentferner sind in Fach- und Baumärkten erhältlich. Sie enthalten zum eispiel kationische und anionische Tenside sowie Natriumhypochlorid. Nach der Entfernung ist eine Nachtrocknung empfehleneswert, z.B. mit einem Warmluftgebläse. So wird sichergestellt, dass die Feuchtigkeit - und damit eine Ursache des Pilzbefalls - verschwunden ist. Handelt es sich um größeren Schimmel, muss jedoch ein Fachmann hinzugezogen werden. Professionelle Schimmelentfernung ist in jedem Fall unentbehrlich, wenn die befallenen Stellen größer als ein Blatt Papier sind.
